21+ Adult Program (Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required)
The 21+ Adult Program at Youth Driving Schools is a driver’s education program designed for adults aged 21 and older who hold U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency. This program is not open to Conditional Permanent Residents holding 2-year green cards — those students should enroll in the standard Adult Program instead. 8 Hours Driving Package
8-Hour Behind-the-Wheel Training
At Youth Driving School, every student completes 8 hours of required behind-the-wheel driving with one of our professional instructors. We schedule these lessons in 2-hour blocks for the best learning experience. By law, the maximum is 3 hours per day, but since breaks are required after 2 hours, we find that 2-hour sessions keep students more focused and comfortable.
Lessons start and finish at our school location for consistency. If you need pick-up and drop-off service.
During the 8 hours, students will practice on all types of roads—from parking lots and city streets to highways and country roads. If, after completing the required hours, the student or instructor feels that more practice is needed, extra driving time can be purchased in 2-hour minimum packages at $75 per hour (discounted from $95/hour).
Training is always one-on-one with our instructors in our brand-new Toyota Corollas. These cars are equipped with student driver signs, dual mirrors, and instructor brakes to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
